Ken Falkenstein, Esq.

Unknown_edited.jpg

Educational Background

Mr. Falkenstein graduated from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia with a B.S. in Secondary Education in 1991.

Thereafter, he earned his J.D. with honors from the George Mason University School of Law, a first-tier law school in Arlington, Virginia, in 2000.

Professional Experience

Ken practiced law for over 16 years in Virginia before relocating to Colorado in 2017.  He has earned a Martindale AV rating by his fellow attorneys and judges, the highest possible rating of excellence in legal ability and ethical standards.

Ken’s entire career has consisted of litigating and trying cases, originally for defendants and insurance companies, and currently for injured parties.  This diverse experience gives Ken unique insight into the strategic thinking of insurance adjusters and defense attorneys, which gives him an advantage in securing excellent results for his clients.

Ken went into the Army immediately after graduating high school in Indiana in 1984 and served as a Russian linguist for Military Intelligence in West Germany during the final years of the Cold War.  Ken had a Top Secret security clearance and was flown in helicopters along the East German border to intercept and analyze Russian military radio transmissions for the National Security Agency.

After leaving the Army, Ken became active in public affairs, and after graduating from college, Ken managed several political campaigns, served as a legislative aide to two members of the Virginia General Assembly, worked as a lobbyist for a local Realtor association, and served as a legislative assistant to former U.S. Senator John W. Warner.  Ken attended law school at night while working full-time in the Senate. He graduated with honors a semester early and was admitted to the practice of law in 2001.

Ken is married and has three boys, one of whom has Down syndrome.  He lives in Castle Rock, and in his spare time he likes to go hiking, travel with his family, or just relax with books on history and public affairs.  He also loves music and annoys his wife by stubbornly refusing to part with his library of over 2,000 CDs.
